Project
A Disaster Recovery (Continuity) project using Citrix MetaFrame Server 4.0 on Windows Server 2003, together with Web Interface Server and Citrix Secure Gateway to provide Remote Access facilities for users based anywhere in the country. Applications ranged from standard applications such as Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes, through financial apps such as Reuters Kobra and Sophis Risque to in-house developed applications based on Microsoft Access, Paradox and Sybase databases.
A project to offer a service “AnyWhere” in the world, allowing staff to log in and check their email from an Internet cafe or to work from home with all their applications and data in case of a Disaster which stopped them from accessing the main offices.
Hewitt Associates
A project to stablise and expand their existing Citrix MetaFrame Server Farm. To document and update server standards, to introduce and enforce management processes and to integrate numerous in-house, bespoke and commercial applications whilst upgrading to the latest versions of the software.
A project to create a Citrix Server Farm based in the UK, running numerous applications connecting to securely held data in the UK Data Centre but allowing access to that data through a secure connection (VPN) from a Call Centre anywhere in the world.
Gotwick Farm
This is an on-going project to design and develop a website for a number of small, interlinked enterprised based at Gotwick Farm, Rusper, West Sussex.
